All About The Edmonton Youth & Children’s Choirs
We Are Two Non-Profit Arts Organizations
The Edmonton Youth & Children’s Choirs is made up of two different choral organizations serving children, youth, and adults in the Southside and across the city.
We prioritize vocal training, developing music literacy skills, inspiring performance and travel opportunities, and building intentional relationships as a community.
At EYCC, We Care About
We teach foundational music literacy skills and priortize healthy vocal technique to help our choristers become confident, lifelong musicians.
quality Musical Training
Our choirs prepare for performances in the city, collaborate with leading ensembles like Pro Coro Canada, and travel to perform across the globe.
Creating Artistry
We believe that everyone deserves a place to sing. Our bursary program ensures financial burden does not get in the way of making music.
INCLUSION & SUPPORT
We Have A Long-Standing History In The Edmonton Choral Community
The Edmonton Children’s Choir was founded in 1993 by Anne Maclntyre in the central Edmonton community of Belgravia. In 1995, a second organization, The Edmonton Youth Choir was added. Fast forward many years later and the choirs have expanded to seven different ensembles for children, teens, and adults.
